Hi, Recent document option has been removed on Windows 10. Instead, on Windows 10 you have an option recent files. To access it, follow the steps: Press Windows Key + E. Under File Explorer, select Quick access. Now, you will find a section Recent files which will display all the recently viewed files/documents. Hope it helps.

Replied on March 22, 2024. Report abuse. All of my recent files in Excel have disappeared overnight. They were here yesterday. I can't even open and pin files again to get them to show as recent. I am having the same issue. The client I am having this issue with uses re-directed folders (server-hosted user profiles).

I dont know where you are looking on that linked doc, but in File Explorer, the OneDrive folder, you locate/select and delete that file. You can do the same via the OneDrive icon to the rt of the task bar> rt click > open folders, locate and delete. As I wrote in my post, I am seeing this file in 2 places.

I might go to file explorer, the folder i want to find recently accessed files in - and right click the highlighted area in pic below and click on more. Then click the new heading to arrange it the way i liked best.
